Like a Box of Chocolates

My guest author today is the very lovely Ria Restrepo.

Here, she tells us about her contribution to the sizzling new erotica anthology Chemical [se]X 2: Just One More.

I fell in love with the first volume of Chemical [se]X, because of the ingenious and highly arousing ways all the contributors incorporated the common theme of aphrodisiac chocolates. Oleander Plume started it all with a brilliant story about scientists from Acme Confectionery and Drain Cleaner Company, who develop the alluring chocolates from some mysterious ingredient they acquired from the Brazilian rainforest. It was both hilarious and wickedly hot.

When Oleander Plume told me that she and the Sisters in Smut—a group of very talented erotica writers—were planning a second volume of Chemical [se]X, I was excited and intrigued. When she asked me to contribute a story, I immediately said, “Yes!”, though I had no idea what I was going to write.

I know that the story needed to involve aphrodisiac chocolates and have clear consent, so I felt inspired to push some boundaries and create something special.

While I mulled it over for a few days, I worked on other things. As is often the case, I was listening to rock music and Aerosmith’s “Love in an Elevator” came on. That sparked the thought, “Hot sex in an elevator!” And so began my very dirty story “Elevator Confidential.”

Of all my stories, I think there’s more of me in “Elevator Confidential” than any other I’ve had published. It contains some of my favorite erotic themes—in particular, a somewhat forbidden relationship between an older man and a much younger woman.

Jackie is having a very bad day—thanks to her boss, who happens to be her father.

Things get better when she runs into her long-time secret crush, Walden. The situation is complicated by the fact that he’s a good deal older than her, and her father’s friend and business partner. Despite some provocative moves on her part, Walden remains the perfect gentleman—much to her frustration. That’s where the aphrodisiac chocolates come into play—although neither of them initially knows about their unique properties.

Even though all the stories in Chemical [se]X 2: Just One More have the common element of the aphrodisiac chocolates, each author took the idea in a very different direction. From contemporary erotica, to paranormal, to a retelling of Greek mythology, there’s great diversity in the sexual pairings.

Just like a box of chocolates, there’s something for just about everyone in Chemical [se]X 2: Just One More. It’s filled with sinfully decadent stories that will keep readers up late into the night to savor just one more enticing tale.

Ria Restrepo may appear to be a mild-mannered bookworm who drinks too much coffee and spends most days tapping away on her computer. But beneath the quiet exterior lurks a filthy-minded sex kitten with a lurid and lascivious imagination. Writing erotica, romance, and all the shades in between, she truly enjoys entertaining readers with stories about strong women exploring and celebrating their desires—especially when they involve dominant men with a sensitive side. Her stories have appeared in Spy Games: Thrilling Spy Erotica, Best Women’s Erotica of the Year: Volume 1, Chemical [se]X 2: Just One More, and The Sexy Librarian’s Dirty 30: Volume 3.
